Search Help

 

This tips only for World bank Adult Outreach Education. To enter a query into Search, just type in a few descriptive words and hit the 'enter' key (or click on the Search>> button) for a list of relevant web pages in Adult Outreach Education. It  returns web pages that contain all the words in your query or can choose the option which one want to search  Like (all words, any word for your query and Phrase), refining or narrowing your search is as simple as adding more words to the search terms you have already entered. Your new query will return a smaller subset of the pages.

 

Choosing Keywords For best results, it's important to choose your keywords wisely. Keep these tips in mind:

  • Use words likely to appear on a site with the information you want. "Education system" gets better results than "world wide education systems to learn".

  • Make keywords as specific as possible. "country profile" gets more relevant results than "information about country Education system".

 

Automatic "and" Queries

By default, it returns pages that include all of your search terms. There is no need to include "and" between terms. Keep in mind that the order in which the terms are typed will affect the search results. To restrict a search further, just include more terms. For example, Adult Outreach Education  and Administration, simply type:

 

Automatic Exclusion of Common Words

It will  search all common words and characters such as "where" and "how", as well as certain single digits and single letters, because they tend to slow down your search without improving the results. It will indicate if a common word has been excluded by displaying details on the results page.

It will not search a single quote, double quote and "*"  like 'public examination system'   and "public examination system" instead of searching single quote and double quote, search for  public examination it will give better result.

 

Capitalization

The searches are case sensitive (accept only Lower case and initial capital letters). All letters, regardless of how you type them, will  not  understood as lower case. For example, searches for "TRAINING", will gives error and search for  "training" or "Training" will all return the relative  results.
