4th Partnership Meeting – Cairo – Nov. 13-14, 2006
The fourth meeting of the FTI Partnership
took place in Cairo, Egypt on November 13 and 14
2006. Ministers
of Education from all endorsed countries and from
countries expected to join the Partnership in the next
few months were invited, along high level officials from bilateral and multilateral agencies, and civil
society representatives.
The Partnership Meeting
discussed progress achieved
over the past year, and addressed challenges and key
issues going forward in light of the ongoing expansion
of the Initiative.
The FTI meeting preceded the sixth meeting of
UNESCO's High
Level Group on EFA.
