Keeping our promises on Education - May 2, 2007 - Brussels

A high level event on education, jointly organized by the European Commission, the United Kingdom and the World Bank, will take place in Brussels on May 2, 2007.  The objective of the conference is to seek concrete proposals and commitments for action to deliver on the promise to give all the world's children a full primary education by 2015.

Conference participants will include ministers of development and finance of the EU Member States, the OECD-DAC donor countries and developing countries, leaders of international organisations, civil society organisations and the private sector as well as members of the European Parliament, individual advocates and experts.
