Welcome to
Global Education Reform Web Site!

The objective of this web site is to gather and share knowledge on worldwide experiences with education reform. Our intent is to provide resources, tools and key readings to policymakers who are involved in designing and implementing systemic reforms in education and to link policymakers in online exchanges of experience.  The web site and the online network also aim at linking researchers and development partners interested in analyzing and supporting education reform experiences. This web site  presents latest knowledge: some of the most common types of education reform; some of the hurdles faced while implementing educational changes; and country cases of systematic reform.

This web site is maintained by the thematic group on Education Reform and Management (ERM) within the World Bank.  The site is continually evolving and will be updated regularly to reflect new information. We welcome your contributions and feedback.
