No Negatives in Positive Reporting, Says Credit Agency D&B.  Credit agency Dun & Bradstreet has denied it is pushing for a US-style regime that would give lenders access to detailed information about their customers' credit patterns. The Australian,  March 12, 2005.

Credit Reporting Firms Boosted by ID Theft.  The identity theft scam affecting thousands of consumer records maintained by ChoicePoint is creating new business for other data collection firms.  The Billings Gazette, Atlanta, March 1, 2005.

Fair Credit Reporting Act a Tool for Home Buyers.  The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), enforced by the Federal Trade Commission, is designed to promote accuracy and ensure the privacy of the information used in consumer reports.  Hillsboro Free Press, February 23, 2005.

Bankruptcy Exemptions, Credit History, and the Mortgage Market.  This paper presents a model of mortgage underwriting, with particular reference to the role of credit bureau scores, which reflect the prevalence of automated underwriting in industry practice.
