The
FSAP is a joint initiative of the International Monetary Fund and the World
Bank. A Protocol governs the treatment of
confidential and sensitive information obtained by FSAP teams. The Protocol details the security procedures
― consistent with the obligations of Fund and the
Bank staff ― preventing disclosure of confidential information acquired in the
course of an assessment. The outside experts who participate in FSAP teams
assume the same confidentiality obligations as a condition of their employment
for the assessment.
