Dr. Friedemann Roy

Dr. Friedemann Roy is responsible for the International Relations at the Association of Private Bausparkassen in Berlin (Germany); the Association represents the common interests of the bausparkassen industry in Germany and abroad, in particular before supervisory authorities and other government agencies. Previously, Dr. Roy has worked for Commerzbank AG in Paris, London and Frankfurt, in the department for International Bank Relations with special focus on central and eastern Europe. His PhD is on banking aspects in Poland, Czech Republic and Hungary in relation to the enlargement process of the European Union.
