Launch of the World Bank's Revamped Public Expenditure External Website

We are pleased to announce the launch of the updated World Bank Public Expenditure website. New features of this website include a section on core reports, with a focus on public expenditure reviews (PERs), the heavily indebted poor countries (HIPC) initiative, and public expenditure Board papers. A section on Bank Operations offers information on the lending and technical assistance portfolio for public expenditures between the years 2000 and 2002. Moreover, a variety of new resources are now available on the site, including cross country data, links to journals, and a "What's New" section which is regularly revised to reflect new initiatives and events being undertaken by the World Bank. To access this website, please go to: http://www1.worldbank.org/publicsector/pe/index.cfm.
