Other Child Protection Initiatives
at the World Bank

Children and Youth Cluster
The Bank brings a core mission of poverty reduction to its work with children and youth. It also has a commitment to partnerships---we recognize that there are other organizations with knowledge and expertise in children and youth that can give important input to the Bank's work and with whom cooperation is essential.

Early Childhood Development
This site is a knowledge source designed to assist policy makers, program managers, and practitioners in their efforts to promote the healthy growth and integral development of young children. This website expands on the former content of the original ABC's of ECD website, and is updated frequently.

The Economics of Civil War, Crime, and Violence
In recognition of the devastating economic consequences of violence in developing countries, the World Bank has launched a large research program to study "The Economics of Crime and Violence."
